Always be mindful of our actions

There are so many important things that we all wish to achieve in this short lifetime.

Unfortunately, each success takes time and effort, which can be quite challenging, especially with all the uncertainties we face living in this unpredictable world. Moreover, opportunities can be limited, and many hurdles may crop up along the way. Given all this, there are two important principles that can help us to navigate this life: First, we should always try our best to practice acts of virtue, whether large or small. Second, we should take care to avoid all forms of non-virtue, whether serious or minor, since such acts can destroy our meaningful lives. By analogy, what starts out as a small fire can end up burning down an entire city. Thus, although we might not be able to do the right thing in each and every situation, if we remain mindful of our actions, that will support us in pursuing our meaningful dreams.
