** If you see your Guru as a Buddha, you will recieve the blessings of a Buddha ** If you see your Guru as a Boddhisatva, you will recieve the blessings of a Boddhisatva ** If you see your Guru as a friend, you will only receive the blessings of a friend **

Two important points to observe

For followers of religion, there are often many commitments to observe

in order to acquire total freedom from suffering and  achieve genuine happiness. And, it becomes apparent that the journey might not be  as easy as one might initially have expected. The journey can seem long and there can be many obstacles along the way to liberation. Therefore, one should not tightly fixate on all the different things to be observed, but instead ensure that the two points of avoid harming others and the taking up of helping others are practiced immediately in the moment. When an opportunity presents itself we should without hesitation abandon hurting others and take up the opportunity to care for and help others. It is this type of immediate and decisive action that is important in determining how fast one moves towards accomplishing the goal of a practitioner.
