Gharwang Rinpoche sharing his thoughts with you

One important lesson that I have learned is that there will always be someone ahead of me. Thus, in my opinion, it is better to be realistic in our approach

and not to think only about oneself. We should keep this in mind and just try our best at whatever we do in life. At the same time, prepare ourselves for the fact that we too can fail in life just like anybody else. Practically speaking, failure and success are not our choice, but whichever comes first, we should learn to accept it and just move forward.

We look to the different religions to overcome the many problems that we face everyday life, such as anger, dissatisfaction, and suffering. We want our beliefs to resolve all these hurdles. However, unless we change and fix our attitudes, religion will never solve our problems. In fact, sometimes with the wrong interpretations we may even see more problems. Therefore, in my opinion, we have to make effort to change our bad habits and put into practice the wise advice from qualified teachers.
