From Gharwang Rinpoche...

Disturbing emotions such as anger, hatred, jealousy and pride are like fire. The more we hide any of them inside our hearts, the more it becomes stronger and more destructive.

After all no matter how nice we may be to those emotions, at the end of the day we will be the loser. It is advisable not to let our hard earned beautiful and meaningful lives be taken away by such forces.

Knowingly or unknowingly we often make mistakes and commit sins in our life. However, wrongful act is something that we all have to avoid as it brings pain and life’s downfall. Many times we really do not know the real effect of our wrong doing. Because a little act of evil may sound venry innocent to most of us. But once we allow the evil intention to reside within us, it will slowly and gradually destroy us as it gain in strength. No matter whether the intention is big or small, cute or ugly we should never host those evil thoughts. This is the best way to keep ourselves safe and dream for a better future.
