Patience, Right Effort & Misperception -Gharwang Rinpoche

Practice of patience is not about giving up our right or bowing to strangers. It is a practice of being wise and practical in difficult situations in order to serve our needs and giving rightful space for harmonious environment. Failure or success is a part of our daily ritual. Patience contributes to the betterment of our mundane way of life.

Moreover, patience brings friendship and happiness to whoever harbours it. It is also the main source of acquiring success and winning over anxieties. Finally, if we lack patience than failure is just beside us. Therefore , we must practice patience to win over failure and most importantly anger, because anger will burn and destroy us! Patience is a journey towards success.Have a nice day!

Right Effort

Practice of effort is very much a part of our daily life and we all know the importance of such practices. Our own experiences tell us that the right effort is very essential to success. In addition, such effort is needed in every aspect of life from student to successful entrepreneur. When we lack an effort then the failure becomes our immediate neighbour. Particularly, right effort which is doing the right things in life and it is the universal value respected by all walks of life. Moreover, the line between failure and success is rather unclear to most of us and the right effort is the strength that pushes us to success! Truly speaking, we don’t have much of a choice as you either decide is to do something meaningful in life or just ruin the beautiful life you had acquired through hard work. The right effort brings success, achievement, fulfilling the purpose of life and will leave behind a memory for many to admire and respect us. The choice is yours!

There is a misperception flying all over our head; that is we need to protect our own religion from external forces or it may fall apart. The fact is the other way around. Buddha said, “Buddhism will not be destroyed by anybody except by my own disciples and no one else.” The truth is whatever we believe is right, then no one can make it wrong. However, if it is wrong, even a thousand Buddhas can’t make it right. Who really needs protection? It’s us and not Buddha. If so, then how the Mighty one can protect us when we needed protection from all? True religion lies within our heart and the rest are just reflection of what is inside our heart! Moreover, your belief is your own property and should be private. Problem arises when someone tries to impose their beliefs on others. Finally, above all, you have to be a good human and we all need to respect the universal law which is love, mutual respect and protecting the right of all. Be open to all issues and most importantly, be a good human being.
