The Little Monks say: "We need your Support, thank you very much"

Zurmang Kagyud Buddhist Foundation is a non-profit, social welfare organisation
established by Gharwang Rinpoche with the compassionate intention to serve the community. The organisation
relies solely on the charitable contribution of donors to help lend support to Rinpoche in his tireless effort.

It is Rinpoche's
lifetime mission to continuously uphold and propagate the
Buddha's teachings for the benefit of all sentient beings. The
Foundation's vision is to build a "bridge" that will reduce if
not eliminate the sufferings of the people by providing the less
fortunate with food, clothing, shelter, medical care, education
as well as spiritual and emotional support. To bring hope to
them based on compassion, wisdom and skilful means. It is all
about love, care and hope!
These littlemonks are now
temporarily staying in Gharwang Rinpoche's house (where Rinpoche
was born). Rinpoche is now building a school with better
facilities to house them. You can see from the pictures. These
monks (some are orphans) are as young as 4 or 5,
maybe even 3 years of age and they come from very poor families.

These additional littlemonks will
add to a total of about 333 monks in LIngdum Monastery.
Lama sponsorship is definitely needed to help fulfill the
mission of Rinpoche. Besides studying English and Tibetan, these
little monks are also given time and break to play football as a
form of physical exercise to keep fit, as you can see from the
pictures too.

These little
monks were taken from school to Lingdum Monastery on Sikkim
Losar Day (17/12/2009) to be given the Buddhist Refuge by
Gharwang Rinpoche.
